The MPPS Endowment Fund - A permanent Endowment Fund

A permanent Endowment Fund is the best way to protect an investment made in educational excellence; ensuring a continued ability to offer the widest range of educational opportunities for students. An Endowment secures a stable source of unrestricted income to the school district – allowing the funds to be available forever!

In launching the MPPS Education Excellence Foundation, we intend to build the Endowment Fund to $1,000,000 in order to generate a significant, sustainable source of income for our schools. We invite you to help achieve our initial goal of $1 million.

As these funds are invested, they generate annual income. Distributions from the Endowment Fund provide a sustained amount of substantial support the district can count on, year after year, helping bridge the gap between the district’s share of state funding and what’s needed to provide an excellent education. Income from the Endowment Fund is used to meet the school district’s priorities in offering education excellence each year.

Every gift to the MPPS Endowment Fund moves us closer to our goal of ensuring an excellent education for every student of the Mt. Pleasant Public Schools.

Gifts to the Endowment Fund can be made as a pledge (cash, charge, or securities) or a deferred gift (bequest or trust). Donations can also be made as a tribute to honor someone or in memory of a special individual.
